VZ patch seems to work in Windows XP for me. However it gets a checksum failure after tone 8 when receiving the memory from the unit. Is that the standard problem people have with VZpatch in XP? I couldnt find anything about specific errors.

it don´t work for me at all - i just tried it on XP and 98. There are a few people having problems with it. I use VZeditor for Atari on steem... well a little slow, but it has some nice features phono --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "jmfreeland1928" <jmfreeland@c...> wrote:

Where did you dl that one from? I downloaded a couple VZ programs, but none have TOS files. Not that I really know how to use an atari emulator yet lol. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "phonophobie" <sidstation@h...> wrote: > it don´t work for me at all - i just tried it on XP and 98. i uploaded all editors i found in the files section of cz-vz files. What exactly did you downloaded? I am still searching for one or two editors that were on atari system!! That one i uploaded is by "nigel stanley", and it´s a nice one. but i heard there is also one by the "Caged Artist Series" and one by "quintsoft" or something like that ... hmmm.. i couldn´t find them so far. a tos file is needed for running steem. i don´t think it´s needed for a program. try reading the faq´s at steem also ;) phono --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "jmfreeland1928" <jmfreeland@c...> wrote:

CZRider for the Atari can be downloaded at: http://tamw.atari-users.net/dwnloads.htm This runs well on WinXP using this emulator: http://steem.atari.st/ There's a guide to set-up with easy to follow instructions. Midi is easy, as well. Setup is fairly simple. This editor was released by Caged Artists and is available as a free download. The emulator is free, as well. The editor gives you a nice graphic interface, as well as saving and loading banks. For the editor, there are a couple of text files that give some instructions, but the program is fairly simple, so you should find your way around fairly easy. Should you decide to try it, I can post the settings that worked for me.
