Electronic Soundmaker CD

2005-02-04 by Chris Strellis

Hi CZers

Are you into synths, drum machines and electronic artists of the mid
80's? You certainly will be if you are in your mid thirties now like
me ;)

A great opportunity to relive a piece of synthesizer history:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3780722556

Features the CZ5000 too :)

I hope you enjoy the CD if you decide to buy it.

Many thanks and best regards

Chris

I'm in my mid 20s and I like the electronic artists of the 80s. I got
into music pretty young.

I do apologise, but I thought that it might be of on topic interest
as it features demos of the CZ101 and CZ5000 at the time of their
launch.

Best regards

Chris

In the US, we have copyright laws that I assume would make your sale
of what would seem to be copyrighted material questionable. (Am I
correct in assuming the CDs were not made by the publisher of
Soundmaker?) I am wondering several things:

(1) Does the UK have copyright laws?
(2) Was the publication copyrighted?
(3) If so, under UK law is the adaptation and reselling of the
material for profit permissible?

Notwithstanding the answers to these questions, any Yahoo synth
group I have been on do not allow commercial advertisements.
Frequently, many will allow members to announce gear for sale to
members--for example, before they list it on e-bay.

Nevertheless, the disk looks rather interesting. Too bad you can't
post full mp3s of the CZ-101 and CZ-5000 demos.

Adverts in this group...

2005-02-08 by Summa

Hi,

I have no problem if someone is selling his Casio/Hohner CZ/VZ/FZ/HS Synth and
posts the ebay or whatever link here.
When it comes to rather non private auctions with multible CDs or shops selling
Casio related part, soundsets ... I'd rather don't like to have them in this
group. Once started, those frequently advertisements could get annoying after
some time. Had to stop that in another group, where someone posted weekly update
on his products so I'm a bit more carefull now...
Of course it also makes a difference if a group member asks for help finding a
source for things like backlight replacement, scematics or...
