Patch Book

Patch Book

2005-07-21 by Ian Arthur Bedford

Hi All,

I am new to this group, I bought my CZ101 back in the 80's, it has
long been locked away in a cupboard unused. Recently however I have
dusted it off and started to have another look at it with fresh eyes
and ears so to speak. When I bought it I seemed to remember it came
with a book full of pre-programmed voices/patches, I used to enter
these and then modify from that base point, however while the
keyboard survived many changes of address the paper work did not.
Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this book from???
Many thanks

IAN

Probably easier than that would be to check here:

www.vintagesynth.org

Go through the menus to the Casio CZ-101 page and
download the patch librarian that is in the upper
righthand corner. It allows you to transmit patches
from sysex banks on your computer to the internal
patches of the CZ-101. In the zipped file is also a
whole bunch of patch banks (hundreds of patches at
least). I am sure that this collection of patches
represents far more patch development than casio ever
put into the cz-101. I just recently downloaded the
stuff and have been listening to all of the new
sounds. Some are very good!
