CZ101 editor for OSX?

CZ101 editor for OSX?

2005-10-03 by mandcmiller

Hey folks,
Just wondering if there are any editor/librarians for OSX that will work with the CZ101? I use
Logic Pro 7, so, I suppose an environment for that should work.

Also, I have sampled a bunch of VZ-1 patches for use in Logic's EXS-24. They are free and
you can grab them here: http://www.millertone.com/samples.html

Thanks,

Matt

Did you ever find something? It's not so easy as an environment as there is a dumb handshake thing in the sysex that makes it a pain in the ass... I bet it could be done in PD though.

Please see the links "defeating handshaking" on that page - should work for CZ types.

I was going to write something in Python for it. Unfortunately real
paying work gets in the way, and I have this powerful urge to eat when I
come home...

Perhaps if some of the other CZ enthusiasts on the list would care to
collate a list of features from editors and librarians they have used -
both the good and the crap features - then we can all make a start.

Gordon..... please do this! please please please! :)

I'm pretty bad at advanced midi, so I don't have much to request apart from controlling basic parameter settings, but I'm sure others will.

best,

DT

an editor will be verry cool.

have you seen this soundtower editors for the dsi mopho or tetra?
there are cool funcions where you can morph some patches togeter.
a genrator for patches. and a random patch generator etc...

i use it a lot for my dsi synths ...when you can do some things like that ,
i think we hapy . and i will pay a donation if it works :-)
