Sound updates

2005-10-13 by Clifton Bryant

Please be advised. My sounds for the casio VZ will be re-uploaded
again for updating porposes, proper pitch bending fixes and few new
added sounds. This will be done before or at the weekend and that this
will be the last update for good. I will keep you all posted later
when this is done.

Thanks!!! Your banks were quite good!!! Any chance you could do a
little readme.txt file that identifies which patches are fixed and
which ones are new?

BTW, You may recall the message I posted a month ago. (See below.)
Well, he sent me the VZ patches and said it was OK to post them for
all to use. I haven't had a chance to test them. (I think he sent
them as a *.mid file.) I hope to have time to do that within a
couple of weeks. Assuming the file came through OK, I will post
them. Do people prefer the *.mid file format or a regular sysex file?

Last October a VZ-1 user posted a link to a tune he made with only
the VZ-1. Although the tune is no longer there, you can visit his
website. I did and asked if he'd be willing to post his VZ patches
here. (His newer stuff doesn't seem to use the VZ.)

Oh hi.

Thank you for the kind words. Actually I just got finnished with the
updates and It should be up by tomorrow and should be better than it
was before as far as pitch bend fixes and a few new sounds added
like cz slap bass, flanged bass, vocal lead and lots more. This
should be interesting. This reminds me that im going to delete my
old sounds that are still up and should be reuploaded again by
tomorrow. I think people prefer sysex files:)

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
