Help with czRAM cart !

Help with czRAM cart !

2005-11-12 by jtbaddog

Hey Guys !

Well I finally found an RA-3 RAM cart for my CZ101 on eBay for auction
and miraculously I won it (I NEVER win the auctions!). But now that I
have it I can't get it to save anything. I follow the original
instructions for saving (they work fine for internal memory) and
after "Write OK" the "cartridge" light is on and the sound plays on
whatever number patch I put it on until I change to a different number
(with static only for sound) and when I return to where I saved it's
gone back to static. I've done it several times with the same results.
I bought a new battery for the mem. cart., same results. Am I missing
something here? If anybody can help I'd really appreciate it!!!

Thanks,
the dog

You need to replace the battery inside. I
believe it is like the EZ-CZ cart's that have a
single AAA battery inside. Replace it, and it
should work fine.

Hey Micah,

Thanks for replying. If you mean the battery inside the cartridge
it's self, the number for it is BR-2016 and I did replace it. Same
results! Thanks anyway.
