A little about myself.

ello I'm Chris and I posted a query without properly introducing myself. I live in the sticks of Utah and purchased a Casio 101 at a D.I. thrift shop for 25 dollars. That was about 4 months ago. Two weeks ago I stumbled across a casio cz-101 at a local pawnshop. So I put it on layaway. Eventually I sold the 101 to the bass player in our project and liberated the cz101 with all three manuals (sound synthesis guidebook, operation manual, and sound data book) intact. This was three days ago. I originally started playing bass guitar when I was fourteen, now I'm diving into wave form synthesis and patch programming. I play lead guitar, but my aproach to music has always been that versatility is the best path to knowledge. Now when we get together to play music we all jump around instruments and bring our own knowledge into the fray. That's why I'm enjoying the cz-101 so much. The simplicity and raw technology of it is really all I need to to begin learning about midi and waveforms.
