Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

Hi,

I recently bought (another) VZ10m off ebay, and the picture of the unit showed what I thought was the manual lying under the unit. In reality, when I received the (otherwise fine) unit, it turned out to be the MIDI exclusive manual / descriptive. If you have a manual, we could exchange copies, how about that?

Hi,

it would nice if you two would scan in the manuals and upload it to the
files section of this list. As far as I know Casio has no problems with
that, at least when it comes to older synths...

Or you can read it out loud and use a speech-to-text program    :)

do you mean we should scan 110 A4 pages (quite a bother IMHO) AND
let it run thru a txt recognition prog (a real nuisance IMHO)?

perhaps gif images of the most important pages should be enough for a start?

BTW: the midi sysex pages are 'only' 28 pages.

This is an option, however we'd have to pass it through
a German-English translation program to make it usable
for English speakers on this board.


I can just see how, after two rounds of pattern
recognition, in the chapter "Editing Patches" you'll read
"My hovercraft is full of eels".

probably would have recognised that you're from germany and it would be
better if someone would scan an english version of the manual.

Well, I scanned the about 70 pages of the german CZ-1 manual... :) I took
time but it is possible....
You don't need a text recognition software, GIFs/JPGs are enough...

We already have (I think it was 2) JPGs from the VZ10m manual in the files
section...

Well, sysex would be important too, since the Sounddiver VZ modul can't
handle fixed frequencies, I might be able to check what the software send
instead...

It was just an idea, I hope you don't mind me for asking...

Get in touch with Casio they will send you a free photocopied manual.
They're very good about this.
