Casio CZ/ VZ/ FZ - Pro Series

My friend gave me a CZ 1 to learn how to play keyboards.  I am looking for the manual.  I can't see a link to the manual in English in the files section.  In addition, I'd appreciate any suggestions for a computer program to teach myself to play.  I have a Mac.  Is the Garage Band program a good one?
