Hi All, can anybody help, I would like to use the internal sequencer of my recently aquired CZ5000 but it does not seem to work as per User manual. I have been unable to choose a track to right in, yet it says i have 100% free memory. May be I am over looking something. Thanks. Junq

You have to hold down the Real Time or Manual button and at the same time select the Track Number button. The Track Number should begin flashing indicating it is armed. You will see the tempo and other settings for the track. When you have setup the track then the Record button will start the recording after one measure for Real Time. Manual recording you will have to enter the notes. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "chplsd@..." <chplsd@...> wrote:

I suspect it works like the SZ1 - the manuals for that: http://templarseries.atspace.com/sz.html --- On Mon, 2/4/12, narfman96 <narfman96@...> wrote:

Hi, thanks for your replys, I have tried the method of holding either the real or step buttons at the same time as selecting which track I wish to write into by pressing its button. This does not light up the light above the track, nothing happens. This is the method described in the CZ5000 user manual. Thanks Junq. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "narfman96" <narfman96@...> wrote:

One test to see if the sequencer is working properly would be to take a seqeuncer sysex dump, load it into your CZ-5000, and see if it plays. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "chplsd@..." <chplsd@...> wrote:

Hey, My sequencer is now functioning. I don't think I put enough pressure on the buttons. I pushed and wiggled and Track one lit up. I get I should open up the CZ5000 and give it a little spring clean. Thanks for your help. --- In CZsynth@yahoogroups.com, "chplsd@..." <chplsd@...> wrote:
