Display... HELP!

Display... HELP!

2014-03-30 by <napravobg@...>

I just bought a new back-light for my VZ10m only to find that the display has oxidised and is useless, and only fit for the garbage bin.. :-(

I note that people have been fitting the new 'made in China' + 5v. LCD plasma-type displays to their Kurzweils..
Is a similar retrofit possible with the VZ / FZ series?

I really would like to keep my VZ10m functioning, as it does wonderful things that no other synth can..

regards

no as the screens on this series dont have controller on there ACTUALLY ON THE SCREEN BOARD

THE LCD HAS MANY CONNECTIONS THAT INTERFACE WITH THE SCREEN BOARD

most newer lcd and the older versions had the controller onboard the lcd screen and then just had a interface to the cpu
