RA6 with CZ101

RA6 with CZ101

2002-05-16 by Andrew Bohachewsky

Hi all!

Just a question on Ram cartridges... looking over older posts someone
commented that the RA6 cartridge (designed for CZ1) works with their
CZ3000, which makes it sound like the RA6 would also work for CZ1000 or
CZ101. Anybody used a RA6 in a CZ101?

Thanks!

Andy

Yep! Accidentally had one in my CZ-101 for a month.
Although the RA-6 can hold 64 CZ-1 patches and 64
operation memories, it doesn't seem to mind only
storing the 16 patches for the CZ-101/1000.

have any right now.

Thanks to all for the info on CZ101 w/ RA6.

I was lucky enough to find an RA6 for small money (shipping charges ended
up being equal to the selling price!) being advertised on the Lentine's
Music site. I ordered it right away... and then ran across some info that
the "correct" cartridge to use is the RA3 - I'm damn glad the RA6 will work.

Funny thing is, I think this cartridge has been in Lentine's for ages. It
actually had an old Lentine's price sticker on it $89.95 - I imagine that
must have been a new price back in the 80s! Definitely got lucky with this
one (I asked, they don't have any more...)
