Memory Protect in ZV-1

Memory Protect in ZV-1

2015-10-21 by dani drome

Hi everyone,

I just bought a ZV-1 and I have a problem...after doing a factory reset, in the screen appears "memory protect" and I can't edit any parameter, and only I can navigate in some presets. I didn't find any information about it in the net... Can anyone helps me about that?

A lot of thanks in advance

Hmm, searched all over the net? Searching must not be your strong point :p if you mean a VZ-1 :

Press menu 3
Navigate to page 01 (by pressing yes or no)
Press menu 3 again
You will see INTERNAL and CARD, they are probably ON.

Use the cursor (I think) key to go to both items and set them to OFF or NO. (off the top of my head)

Not sure if my message got sent.

First things first, download the VZ-1 manual (if you really meant VZ-1)

Anyways :

Press Menu 3

Press Yes until you get to submenu 01

Press Menu 3

Using either the cursor keys ( I think) go to internal and using the yes/no (I think) set Internal = NO or OFF.

Press Play.

If you mean vz1 the user manual is at:

http://templarseries.atspace.com/vz.html

I imagine it mentions memory protect in there. At least if it doesn't it is a glaring oversight.

Incidentally if you know the manufacturer reset can you put it here so I can tack it to that page?
It may also be in the manual.

Initialization according to the Service manual:

--------------------------
System All Initialize
To initialize all VZ1 internal operation memory, voice and effect data
to factory preset values, hold down the Write key and turn VZ1 power
on. Respond to the Yes? prompt by pressing the Yes key. All internal
data is reset to its original state.

I'm not sure, how it works on ZV1, but if you own VZ1, that's normal - according to the Owner's manual memory Protect is set to On after initialization.

Go to Menu 3, page 01 Memory Protect, and change the setting to Off. See page 72.

You are right, it's described on the page 90 in Owner's manual.
