Unfortunately one of the background bells didn't turn out right but good news I may not delete this video. Im going to do the same video again but only this time for the casio vz with improved sleigh bells and newly added bells. I apologize for the video but things keep getting better each time when I program this thing.

I recently reconnected a VZ-8m; it has a dead battery but I can still sysex banks to it.

By any chance do you have any VZ patches that do some sort of harmonic sweeps? If not, have you tried developing any such patches? A few years back I did a rather experimental piece I call "A Study in Harmonics, No. 1" where I played with the harmonic tuning from the front panel--changing the harmonic tuning up a few partials, then down, then up and down, etc. Great effect with an 8-bit late 1980s (or is it early 1990s) era FX box, IIRC.

Anyhow, I am wondering if some sort of harmonic sweeping is possible with a patch. Thanks.

Hi Steve. I'm glad you brought it up and I didn't even realize that I had such a patch I made years ago buried in one of my old Alesis data disks. I'll probably be uploading the patch sometimes anytime tonight. It will be more likely an A-1 patch and the rest you can ignore. I know what you mean about the sweeping harmonics patch and I think they are cool sounding. I'll keep you posted.
