matt,
i have read that the HxC floppy emulator works with the casio FZ-series samplers, but i have been too busy to try it on my fz20m. failing that, you might be able to get an external scsi drive enclosure and put in something very stable and proven like a microtech PCD-47b- though those are rare now and quite expensive thanks to their popularity in MPCs and other akai samplers. i have one in both my MPC2000XL and my S6000 and like them very much.
here is a thread about the floppy emulator in the FZ http://www.torlus.com/floppy/forum/viewtopic.php?f=18&t=408
cheers from california to cornwall,

just find your fav samples and make one or two disks
all the samples contained amonst the user disks , dont hold up to todays
standard , i found maybe 50 samples i liked through out all 60 of those user
disks....
still need to make programs to use the samples , so don't delay!!!
