Newb question - .fzf to floppy export

Newb question - .fzf to floppy export

2014-06-24 by ian@...

Hi folks - just picked up an FZ10M from ebay with no library, and sadly lost my old library from when I owned an FZ1 back in the 80s. So have grabbed the Factory library .fzf files, together with a bunch of dos utils.
To save me a bit of time trawling should I be looking at OmniFlop64 or HxCFloppyEmulator_soft_beta, or something else?
Thanks in advance,
Ian

Just get a HxC version of your choice and use the current version of the Software, which is HxCFloppyEmulator 2.0.22.0. It will work just fine. You can directly convert the .fzf files to the .hfe files used by HxC. Same for .img files you may find around, i.e. on Casiocollectors over here.

Omniflop requires a diskdrive which is compatible and a set of those old school disks. Not worth the hazzle.

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
