In a pinch, relying on synchronization for dead-on accuracy can work - and it would solve the issue of retrofitting the clock in the Atompro - which seems to defeat the purpose of having a plug-and-play processor that is easy to acquire and implement. Swapping out soic hardware is really an expert's domain - and a young expert at that! gary
