Well when I get time I will spy both patch A1 and my original patch in Sounddiver and see what's what.

Ravi, I'd have to guess that, if you load your saved SYSEX files
(that you created on a beta unit) into a production unit...

- some of your patches will sound quite different (because I know for
a fact that Dave tweaked some of the patches we sent him)

- others will sound at least *close* to "correct" (albeit probably
with minor differences due to the upgraded DSP chip in the production
units, changes in the OS programming, etc.)

Along with the upgraded DSP chips, there might be other differences
in the production vs. beta units. There's also the software
workaround that Dave had to program in order to get around the
hardware bug in the new DSP chips; that may have caused a difference
in the way things sound, too, though I'm not sure.
