I was hoping for something similar. What I was thinking is that when shift is used for the sequencer, it would activate the gate, where gate time would be from 0-100 (auxillary advantage is that a gate parameter elmiminates the need for 'off' setting on first sequencer track AND allows one to use rests on all sequencer tracks. Nice, no?) and after 100 the display would read 6Ld...glide! For the sequencer to transmit MIDI would be awesome, too.
