Unfortunately, the sequencer only controls internal parameters. The good news is that the evolver makes a great guitar processor in itself. It does distortion, delay, flange, some chorus-like effects, envelope follower sounds, tremolo, pseudo-wah sounds, various other filter effects, if you're clever you can get ring-mod like sounds (look for one of my posts a couple weeks back) plus it does cool stuff guitar processors usually don't do, like the feedback for example. It's also a synth. :p But if you are just looking for a sequencer, check out the Technosaurus Microcon. It's small, it's cheap, it's a step sequencer that sends out MIDI.
