Hey Sir James ;o) No offence intended back there, didn't mean to come across short. You do seem really smittin with audio delay! I am like you and love delay (excepting in the supermarket) and am having a lot of fun with the evolver, it has the best onboard delay of all my gear, but ended up getting an fx expander with extreme delay. Lining up my 3 delays it gets around 5.5sec, add the evolvers 1.5 and that's 7sec (scary!) It's more fun adding feedback in different blocks the chain. I'll have to try what Adam suggested, think I may have done this accidently before.
