The filter in my Evolver isn't tuned right too. Audio Mod means that the filter cutoff frequency is modulated by the oscillator waveshape. It is similar to modulating the filter cutoff with a very fast LFO, the osillator beeing the LFO in this case. I think it's called filter FM as well.
