Maybe you guys just need to tune your filters? I'm not sure if that's actually the problem since my arcane setup would make it way too much of a hassle to test, but IIRC you can tune the filter by pressing the row buttons 4+7 simultaneously. If it's not that, I'm fairly certain either 1+5 or 4+8 should do it. --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, trippler@t... wrote: > The filter in my Evolver isn't tuned right too. > > Audio Mod means that the filter cutoff frequency is modulated by the > oscillator waveshape. > It is similar to modulating the filter cutoff with a very fast LFO, the > osillator beeing the LFO in this case. > I think it's called filter FM as well. > > Regards > Stefan > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "mbc0920" <m-cartwright@n...> > To: <DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com> > Sent: Sunday, September 14, 2003 10:05 AM > Subject: [Evolver] tuning filter with key amt > > > > hey, > > i'm kind of frustrated right now. all i want to do is filter some noise > with the 4pole > > filter and have it resonate/self-oscillate at the cutoff freq.
