Re: Dave's notes on secret key combos

2003-09-20 by Ravi Ivan Sharma

Dave is aware of this. The tuning aspects in this regard, i.e.
keytrack, etc, have to be done via tweaks in the lookup tables of
the O.S., During beta we spent (I mean Dave spent -- I just kept
asking for more things) some time discussing and working on making
Evolver quite tweaked in regard to notes, etc. for example things
like lfo, mod and envelope amounts if patched to pitch can be set
certain to things like octaves, etc (that is how in one patch in the
shipping evolver that I did that I called "Doc Severinsen" that
sounds like a horn, when you press fully on aftertouch it is
supposed to go up exactly an octave. For some reason on the shipping
version, this came out as only 11 notes up, if any of you look for
that patch, you can go tweak the aftertouch amounnt to make it a
perfect octave and the patch will be correct.) in any event, the
ability for the amount numbers to correspond to octaves and notes is
not accidental at all. The same goes for the filter I believe.

Will it be addresse? I don't know. I hope so!!

Ravi
