Interesting. I wanted to do the same thing 2 hrs after I got the Evolver. Basically, you want to have different note durations (or 'gate-time') (Please note: my Evolver just stopped working so I can't double check what I did... ... but I'm pretty sure) This is what I did: Set the 'VCA Level' to '0'. Set the VCA's 'Env Amt ' to '100'. Adjust the envelope's ADSR to your shortest note. Use one of the sequencer tracks to modulate the level of the VCA. Higher values in the seq. will sustain the sound, in effect, superceeding the envelope.
