The only thing that I would add to the issues you raised is that I would actually like a keyboard model - but of course, not at the expense of the sequencer - I want it all! Ideally, Dave could offer a tabletop AND a keyboard version, in the manner of the Access Virus. If I had to guess, though, I think he'll opt for the simpler and less expensive approach of a tabletop version only.
