Hi guys, I finally took my Evolver back out of the
box and want to revisit using it. I've decided to try and perform the updates,
but I'm having trouble downloading the sysex files for the new 2.0 Evolver
software. Can anyone help me out?
I'm using Midi-Ox and everytime I try and load the
first PIC file, halfway through the load I get an error message telling me that
the port is transmitting data to the device, wait until the data has been
transmitted, and then try again.
I have no clue what's going on. I'd hate to screw
up my chips.
Can someone give me a detailed step-by-step to make
sure I've got ALL setting correct before attempting this proceedure
again?

OPPOSITE of the actual envelope parameters themselves.
For example, when you want a longer Envelope Attack, you INCREASE the
value of the Attack, right? However, if you apply a POSITIVE value
to Envelope Attack via a modulator, you will DECREASE the Attack time.
That seemed backward to me, but Dave confirmed that was his intent.
It all works fine (at least for me!), just as soon as you realize
what's going on.
