just a quick question about the monomachine... soo... it seems that one of the synthesis engines is called SID. I'm assuming this is from the SID station... but there only seems to be 2 DSP chips in the monomachine. Does the monomachine actually have one of the c64 sound chips in it as well, or is it just replicating the SID synthesis engine... and if so, does it sound the same? I've heard that one of the unique characteristics about the SID station was all of the wacked out crosstalk noise, etc. that is inherent to the chip. I always wanted a sid station, but never had the money... hmmm... so, it's not like I really have the money for the mono machine now ($1350?), but it would be nice to know they still make something that could get those sounds...and much more... so, eventually... mark
