I too had a bad experience with the editor. I found it fatally flawed concerning the edit buffer mangement (in a nutshell it would save the old patch buffer not your newly edited buffer). DSI were fast to reply to my tech enquiry but simply passed the report to the author of the editor. He did respond quickly and confirmed that it had never worked. However thats the last I heard. For $50 I would have expected a bug fix to be pretty swiftly released, buts its been several months so far. Shame.
