Yes, you can dump/load patches from/to the Evo and Poly in SysEx format. There are a number of patches available here in the "Files" section of the Yahoo group, and two very large collections of patches at EX5Tech. Here are some links: "Files" section in the DSI Yahoo Group http://launch.groups.yahoo.com/group/DSI_Evolver/files "Evolutionaries" Soundset at EX5Tech http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi? ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=000035 "Breath of Evolution" Soundset at EX5Tech http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi? ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=000047 Using MIDI-OX to Save & Load Evolver Patches http://www.ex5tech.com/ex5ubb_cgi/ultimatebb.cgi? ubb=get_topic&f=23&t=000013 (Note: If your email client or the Yahoo group splits the link(s) above onto two lines, you may need to copy/paste the link(s) into your browser address bar.) Note that most of the available patches were made and posted before OS2 was available, so they don't have the actual patch names stored in the SysEx files. I've been meaning to post an updated version of our "Evolutionaries" soundset that does include patch names. Seems there's never enough time to get everything done... Oh, and welcome to the club! I went ahead and acquired a poly and now that I've heard some of these wonderful poly mp3s lately I don't think I'm going to regret the decision. Thanks to all who responded.
