I am going to disagree with richard here. I have never had any problems with the software. It is a little different than what you are used to (especially since the sequencer is set up like a old analog seq.) but I find it well laid out and considerably easier to use than just programing the front panel. Just download the demo which does have some functionality and check it out. Plus having the features like uploading your own waveforms and the genetics may not be available on the MOTU. As far as bugs, I had mine eat it all of once. Most of that my be more with issues with VB6 and other components (at least that is my take).
