Re: [Evolver] Re: Poly-evolver keyboard has no mix input

2005-02-14 by Christian Andersson

A guy that I used to play in a band with had a tiny mixer that sounds exactly as what you're after... I don't exactly remember how many inputs there were, but there weren't many, and just a volume control for each in/output. Nothing else at all! The only problem with it was that it distorted quite easily if you played too loud...
I have no idea which brand it was, but you should be able to find it if you search really hard... :)
Ok, I'm too curious not to search myself... =)
Aah... Here it is:

The one I thought about is the "microphone mixer", but it's probably a bit too small since it's only mono out.
The "stereo mixer" (MMX-3) seems more suitable: 3 stereo in, a stereo out + headphones...
Don't know the prices, but the small one sells for below $50 here in Sweden...

Hmmm, is there some sort of passive no-features very-small-space
very-low-price mixer one could use for this sort of thing?

E.g. 3 stereo inputs -> 1 stereo output with no controls (maybe a single
volume pot for each input or something).
