I don't know if the E's filters are "thick" or not; they're somewhat
mild-mannered, and not as in-your-face as say a minimoog filter.
However even simple patches on the evolver do sound a lot warmer than
yer average VA.

I also find the E's filters are really easy to make sound nice (as
opposed to the "hours of tweaking trying to find the damned sweet spot"
experience on aforementioned VA).  They have a nice juicy resonance, and
the curves on the filter envelope seem _perfect_ to my ears...

So not the ultimate filters, but really rather nice I think.
