Re: [Evolver] External Processing With The Evo?

2005-03-10 by jayteejrs

Thx Alex, I received a similar response which basically repeated what
you've stated... So I'm set on looking towards getting a separate
external filter box as suggested... I'll just used the Evo for it's
uniqueness & mangling textures...

Cheers,
Jay

the evo as “thick”, more kind of “edgy” and I would, on the
whole rate the digital side of things higher on the machine - I
didn’t find the filters all that interesting on their own to use on
external sounds, and get more use from the distotion, trash and echo,
using the filters to control the sound.

look at: mutator, frostwave resonator, modular stuff, or (I only know
it by reputation) electrix filter factory.
