I'm also curious -- how do current polyevolver owners work with it? 
Do you use a mono evolver as a control unit?  Is this a convenient and
seamless way to work, or are there annoyances?

I have a mono evolver, and while I'm salivating over the upcoming
keyboard, the polyevolver rack seems a bit scary with the lack of
controls, even if a mono E were attached...
