It's cool to make shirts and stuff for people to wear, particularly if you have dave smith's approval. Without approval, I'd say it's definately NOT cool for you to be making a profit off it. No approval, and not making a profit? well, It's neither here or there from where I'm sitting. DS may disagreee. The thing is, this is dave's business name and trademarks you are using. It's another person's intellectual property. how would you feel if you had a band that was popular enough to sell t-shirts on the net, and someone else opened a cafepress site using your bandname and song/album titles, and images? then to top it off, sent you an email asking to advertise their site on your web page? > Any feedback (positive or negative) is appreciated... > intellectual property issues aside, I wouldn't wear one.... but that's more from a not liking plain old logo-shirts or photo shirts kinda thing. I wear lots of t-shirts but I like very minimal, clean line art graphics kinda stuff... if anything, I'd wear a shirt with the evolver signal flow diagram (or part therof, cause the whole thing is a bit too complex) and maybe DSI/evolver (front panel logo font!) in really small text out of the way of the image, if I absolutely had to... oh. and I don't wear white t-shirts. ever. they stain too easy, and they look like arse anyway. light colours are a possibility, depending on how well they're done. heavy colours are best. How about something in a nice solid DSI evolver blue? julian -- http://bleepin.com
