Thanks for the help. The patches were sonically identical until I 
edited. Whereupon I had 4 voices sounding like x on the keys and 4 
other voices sounding like y on the rack. Apparently that is an 
error? I did not try to save them because I assumed that they would 
sound like what aI was playing. But I will try to do that. One thing 
that occurs to me is that the "position" of the rack parametes may 
be different once editing starts . In other words, the patch is in 
memory but when I grab the filter knob and twist it on the keys 
version, it "jumps" to the "Actual" parameter, which may be 
different on the rack. Just thinking out loud. But again, thanks for 
the response.
