The pek is *exactly* 4 desktop engines. Sound's identical minus poly.

Subject: [Evolver] Anyone own a PEK AND an evolver desktop...

I bought my PEK a month ago...and obviously I'm pretty blown away...this will always be an
essential part of my arsenal...

however, I just was in a store and laid my eyes on the Evolver desktop...call me
greedy...but 500 bucks for a "mini-me" evolver that you can take on the road seems like a
pretty sweet deal...

anyone have both? are there any differences sonically between the two?
