yes, the G2 and Andro (and many others) have *some* mappable parameters. 
  but not *all* there parameters (not even the g2).  some are hardwired.

I dont think thats a failing of the synthesizer, but rather the 
controller.   The controller should have the flexibility to allow you to 
choose what it sends to match what its playing into.   I dont think you 
could convince me otherwise.

as a work around, you could use some software to translate the CC#s as 
you wish.  I think logic used to do this via the environment, but I 
never really tried it.
