I had to ask for a refund for the previous soundtower editor. IMO the guy is 
overworked and doesn't have the time it needs, plus he's a bit defensive... 
the current version works much better but hmm, I'm waiting for something 
better as well.

BTW Has anyone tried the soundtower Wavestation editor?

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
