Hi Gene, The Fizmo is definitely a weird & wonderful synth, and it would be cool to create an editor for it... Vyzor Fizmo - Now there's a brand name spelling that would send any self-respecting English teacher into convulsions! However, Psicraft's mandate is to work with living, breathing hardware companies to create editors for new gear that is just being introduced. Legacy gear from companies that are now part of larger organizations is hard to get detailed SysEx info for - Usually the original design team has been scattered to the 4 winds, and the docs are incomplete. Likewise, any issues with the instrument's functionality are impossible to have fixed on the hardware side (which can kill the whole project if it's serious enough an issue). Finally, Psicraft is left to promote the editor alone in cases like this, since the manufacturer (if they still exist) usually have no interest in promoting something that is out of production. The only exception to this rule is legacy gear that has a large established following and a solid SysEx implementation that can support the kind of editor features we all expect from a plug-in instrument GUI. Personally, I own a D-50, D-70, JP-8080 and a Wavestation SR, which makes these instruments feasible for legacy Vyzor editor support... That said, newer gear like the Evolver, Virus, Andromeda A6, Ion, Micron and Line6 POD/PODxt lines are at the head of the line for completion, so we'll have to get these out first.
