Re: Definitive Guide To Evolver

2005-10-14 by Jonathan Villegas

Anu, Ski...

I just snagged my copy of the "Definitive Guide..."
PDF and wanted to say "thank you, thank you, thank
you!" Thanks to Anu for writing it and to Ski for the
PDF conversion.

What this manual amounts to is a "Dummies" guide to
the Evo. I'm a typical dumb guitar/bass player with
a 2.0 Desktop Evo. This new manual will help me use
the Evo to stretch the boundaries of surf rock music.
With the upcoming psicraft editor, I'll be able to
really wring the Evo's skinny little neck to
submission. :-)

Well, it's done.

I just uploaded what is now called "The Definitive
Guide To Evolver"
to the files area. It's over 100 pages, as a Word
Document. I can do
a PDF if people prefer.

This isn't "final" - I expect there are a few things I
got wrong or
some things I messed up. It belongs to the group now,
so read it,
comment, change, whatever.

Enjoy and let me know what you think.

Special thanks to GregAE for his edits, comments, and
feedback. Also
thanks to the various people who read it in
less-finished stages and
encouraged me to keep going.
