I'm running them as channel 13, 14, 15, and 16.  I do have the 
keyboard routed through my MC-909 and back to the keyboard, with 
local off.  However I just tried turning local back on and unplugging 
my midi cables and it still operates the way I described.   If I try 
changing what MIDI channel the keyboard is transmitting on, nothing 
is affect...
