Hi Brian, Thanks for replying. You're right! (i hope) I emailed Dave and got that info plus the sysex file within an hour :-) Still one small problem, my being old school i don't use a computer for music so i haven't got a midi interface for my Mac. I do have an MPC1000 but don't think you can load raw sysex in that... I asked Dave if he has the fix in .mid format, if not i'll see if i can load it into the Evolver somewhere else.
