I've only listened to the TI in the store, but my impression is that to some degree the Evolver covers a similar range (e.g. neither can really do the super-moogy stuff or quite pull off the "transistor sound"), but the Evolver seems to be a bit more organic/dirty/quirky, and without the insane polyphony or gobs of effects. It's a shame that the PEK isn't in more stores because I think it ultimately comes down to whether it feels right or not, and you really needs some hands on time to figure that out. [The mono-evolver is in some ways a good introduction, but doesn't communicate the excellence of the PEK's interface or the experience of using the Evolver sound polyphonically.] -Miles -- 自らを空にして、心を開く時、道は開かれる
