Hey Christopher, I think Trippler sumed it up (about the matrix). Having worked a lot with my mono in the last two weeks, i realised that since OS3 was released it pretty much took care of all my reservations about the matrix. I prefer having a controller (novation remote25) that can be configure and reconfigure to my taste instead of having fixed parameters. ALso, i too don't think i would like all knobs to be smooth cause it really can drive you crazy when you're just trying to step to the next parameter. I have worked a lot with a microwave XT and althought i love that synth, it just a pain sometimes to get to some parameters. It's just that i always wanted to have a 3 octaves synth like an Access indigo but with the Evolver engine....:) SImon --- In DSI_Evolver@yahoogroups.com, all@... wrote: > > > > Greetings Simon, > > Would you care to elaborate on the mono Evolver and just what > it is about the matrix that inhibits play? > > Having just discovered the Evolver, I am very tempted to > purchase the mono.
