Re: [Evolver] Pulse?

2006-04-03 by Ravi Ivan Sharma

Some patches have sequences associated with them that turn on if you press the sequence button. For those, just press stop.
Some patches have an "automatic sequence" associated with them that is based on the TRIGGER MODE. IF you want that to stop, change the TRIGGER MODE to a more normal setting -- you MUST read the manual for this.
Otherwise, you may download hundreds of extra patches for your evolver and replace the sequences you don't like if you don't feel like dealing with reprogramming.
The Evolver is *not* a super complicated synthesizer compared to many others, but then again, even simple synthesizers require some time and effort before one "gets it" unless one simply wants to scroll through presets.
But extra presets are available if that is what you need:

Subject: [Evolver] Pulse?

Greetings,

Most every sound from the Evolver Mono edition has a pulse or
beat that I can't seem to control or modify.

To be frank, the Evolver Mono is stretching my abilities and
is perhaps just too much for me. I am considering returning it. In
the meantime, if someone might answer this basic question I would be
grateful.

Best wishes and thanks - Christopher
