I would think if the other synths you mention don't click, it proves
the attacks on those are not as fast... afaik a sharp enough jump in
amplitude in an audio waveform will always sound like a click.

i have read that there are other factors to envelope shape (like 'peak
hold time') that can cause a perception of punchiness although the
envelope is not literally that 'fast'
