If the clock is set to internal the Evolver won't react on sequencer start/stop messages. If you set a patch to trigger select "midi gates sequencer/reset", the Evolver will start if a note is sent from Pro Tools. As alwaysm, unsyncronizeded midi devices will have slightly differnt clock speeds and be out of sync after a few bars, so it is useful to retrigger the Evo sequencer often by sending new notes each or each 2nd bar.
