You can actually get complex waveform sweeps from the Evolver- use an LFO to crossfade between oscillators 3 and 4 and two sequences to change the waveforms, and set the output to mono. The triangle wave on the LFO isn't ideal for this so it's a bit crude. It's not actually a sweep in terms of what the PPG Wave does, it's more like wavesequencing on the Korg M1. It's an interesting sound though, particularly if you use different length sequences.
